Unit 1 Course Portfolio You produce a portfolio of work for this unit. Investigations using a variety of media and scale lead to a personal, well researched final outcome. 30% of A Level Unit 2 Controlled Assignment A final piece of work is produced independently under controlled conditions. You have several weeks to experiment, record and research as well as consult with your teacher as you develop your ideas 20% of A Level Unit 3 Course Portfolio You are required to use personal starting points to produce a major project that shows you working through a range of art and design experiences. You will include a personal study, related to your coursework theme, of between 1000 and 3000 words. 30% of A Level Unit 4 Controlled Assignment You will choose a starting point and during the initial planning and preparation stage you will demonstrate recording, planning and developing ideas and completing a final response under controlled conditions in 15 hours. 20% of A Level
