Course summary

The skills gained from studying a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) subject at A level or degree level are in demand by employers. Graduates from STEM subjects earn on average 5% to 10% more than those who studied other courses. A level Further Mathematics introduces new topics such as matrices and complex numbers that are vital in many STEM degrees. Further Mathematics is a challenging subject, which deepens your knowledge and understanding beyond the standard Mathematics A level. You will cover six units including exclusive statistics and mechanics units.
