The focus of the investigation must be a research question or issue independently defined and developed by you; it can relate to any part of the specification content, including options not taught as part of the course. The suggested length of the completed investigation is 3,000 to 4,000 words. You are also required to complete 4 days of fieldwork during the A Level Geography course; this will take place in the Spring term of Year 12, on a residential field trip to Dorset, where a mix of Physical and Human Geography, and Geographical Skills will be studied.
