Assessment
Two externally assessed written exams (each paper is marked out of 140) One internally marked and assessed units of coursework. During Year 12, you will take an internally assessed exam (on Unit 1) to test the knowledge gained throughout the year whilst beginning to lay the platform for the independent programming project which will be an invention of your own. In Year 13, the programming project will work hand in hand with the delivery of Unit 2 where you will learn a lot of the programming techniques that you are expected to demonstrate in the coursework. For this qualification you must achieve five units and follow one specialist pathway.
