Assessment

Assessment is through final examination and the design folder for the coursework project. The final examination is a two-and-a-half-hour paper and has an increased emphasis on maths and science in its content. Learners will choose their own project (which must be agreed by staff for its suitability). The design folder is the evidence of all design and making work done during the project and is usually in the form of an A3 bound document.
