Assessment

At the end of the course there will be two examinations: Paper 1: Tragedy —2hours 30 mins worth 40% of the A-level Paper 2: Social and Political Protest—3 hours worth 40% of the A-level. Non-examined assessment Students also complete two pieces of coursework, both 1500 words long, on a novel and a poetry collection of their choice both worth 10% of the A-level each.
