Assessment

Component one - 30% of qualification: Examines the principals of research in psychology and carrying out investigative activities. Component two - 35% of qualification: Places a classic piece of research within an approach in psychology and a contemporary debate (e.g. the biological approach, the brain structures of serial killers and the ethics of neuroscience). Component three - 35% of qualification: Applies psychological explanations and therapies to human behaviours – criminal behaviour, mental health and the effect of the environment on our psychology.
