There are two exams (worth 80%) and coursework (worth 20%): Exam paper 1 covers language levels, topical language issues (students’ journalistic writing) and spoken and written language Exam paper 2 covers children’s speech development, media language, and language change from 1600-present day The non-examined assessment (coursework) is on any language topic of interest in negotiation with your teacher.
