Sport BTEC level 3

Assessment

The units covered are assessed externally and internally, and include examinations, vocational tasks and assignments. All units contribute proportionally to the overall qualification grade with the externally assessed units equating to 45% of the total qualification. Unit 1 is assessed through a 1.5 hour written examination. Unit 2 and 22 are both assessed through a task set and marked by Pearson and completed under supervised conditions in 2.5 and 3 hour sessions respectively. The remaining units are assessed internally through set assignments with work externally verified.
