Component 1: Devising 40% of qualification, internally assessed. Devise an original performance text, using a theatre practitioner as a stimulus, then write about your process in the submission of a portfolio between 2,500-3,000 words. Component 2: Text in Performance 20% of the qualification, externally assessed. You will perform an extract from one performance text and a monologue from another. Component 3: Written exam 2 hours 30 min 40% of qualification covering live theatre evaluation, page to stage and interpreting a performance text.
