Course summary

Government and Politics is the study of power and the issues that affect you - locally, nationally and globally. You will study the UK political parties and their leaders, elections and the arguments surrounding them, and the way the UK is governed. The course also covers various political ideologies, and in Year 13, is exam-based and you will be expected to write essays discussing different viewpoints and arguments, as well as reaching your own informed conclusions.
