3 written exams and 1 non-examined assessment • Paper 1: Physical Geography: Tectonic Processes, Glaciation, Water Cycle and Water Insecurity, the Carbon Cycle and Energy Insecurity (30%, 2 hour exam). • Paper 2: Human Geography: Globalisation, Superpowers, Regenerating Places and Health, Human Rights and Intervention (30%, 2-hour exam). • Paper 3: Synoptic Investigation: Resources on a geographical issue (20%, 1¾ hour exam). • Coursework: Independent Investigation - Non-examined assessment (20%, 3-4000 words).
