Course summary
Sociology is the study of how society is organised and how we experience life. Sociology asks you to understand and apply key concepts such as power, gender, ethnicity and culture to important and topical issues in Education, Family, Belief and Crime & Deviance which shape the world we live in. Studying Sociology will help students to learn how to work independently, to participate in group work and to carry out research investigations.
