Assessment

YEAR 12 – TRIAL EXAMS Paper 1& 2 are assessed by written examination during two 120 minutes tests. Questions are structured and include: short answer questions, questions based on stimulus material (e.g. everyday life) 16 marks questions requiring extended writing (essay) YEAR 13 –THREE FINAL EXAMS AFTER TWO YEAR COURSE Paper 1, 2 and 3 topics are assessed in three written examinations. Each test lasts 120 minutes and is worth 96 marks. The exams include structured questions and several essays. There is no coursework. Research Methods are taught practically, throughout the year, in all topics, to give students a firm grasp of necessary theoretical and practical research skills.
