Course summary

This course is purpose built for students who wish to pursue a career in the Health sector, the Social Care sector or Child Care. We cover a range of topics including, working in H&SC, the skills and attributes needed to work in the sector, the impact of self-image and perception on a person’s life and the sociological perspectives that help us to understand life, each other, and society. During this course you will learn many skills that are easily transferable to interview situations, management positions and the working world in general. These include presentation, communication and being a good self-manager. If you have a passion for learning about how the Health and Care sectors are influenced by a range of factors and you are caring and self-motivated, then this is the ideal course for you.
