BTECs are established qualifications that can be followed as an alternative to A levels. The BTEC National in Sport provide an introduction to the PE sector especially for learners interested in building a career in sport or within one of its occupational areas. These areas include careers in fitness, management, teaching, coaching and leadership and sports development.
Grade 4 or above at GCSE PE; Merit or above at BTEC First Award in Sport, Cambridge National Sports Science/Studies or VCert Health and Fitness.
