Course summary
Students undertake the removal and replacement of vehicle components and the diagnosis of non-complex faults. The qualification comprises of the following units all of which are to be completed in order to be successful. GA0102 Health & Safety and Good Housekeeping in the Automotive Environment GA3 Support for Job Roles in the Automotive Environment GA4 Materials, Fabrication, Tools and Measuring Devices used in the Automotive Environment LVM02.1 – Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Engine Mechanical and Lubrication System Units and Components LVM02.2 – Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Heating & Cooling System Units and Components LVM02.3 – Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Fuel, Ignition, Air, and Exhaust System Units and Components LVM03 - Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Electrical Units and Components LVM04 - Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Chassis Units and Components LVM12.1 - Knowledge of Removing and Replacing Light Vehicle Transmission and Driveline Units and Components Synoptic unit - completed after all other units have been successfully completed: L2LVMS – Plan, Prepare, Carry Out and Report on Routine Light Vehicle Maintenance
