Students on our full time Art and Design, Craft Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography courses will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of media, including new and traditional technologies, and develop their understanding of the interrelationships between Art and Design, Craft Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography processes and the context in which they operate. The BTEC Art and Design specification encourages personal, creative and imaginative approaches to Art and Design, Craft Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography. The course is assessed through the completion of 13 units. 9 units are completed internally and moderated by a moderator from the exam board and 4 of these units are externally set and assessed.
