Course summary

You will gain skills to a very high level to carry out work in the Carpentry and Joinery industry. You will become confident in health & safety within the construction industry, stacking and storing materials and equipment, the construction industry, manufacture complex joinery products, set up and use fixed and transportable machinery. At level 3 you will study and be assessed in the following subjects: Health, safety and welfare Technical information, quantities and communication Construction industry and built environment Set up and operate woodworking machinery to create curved work Manufacture shaped joinery products Set and mark out for shaped joinery products
