A Level French

Course summary

Following on from GCSE French the aims of the course have an intentional stress on communication. An emphasis is placed upon enabling and encouraging students to: Develop understanding of the spoken and written forms of the foreign language from a variety of authentic materials/ communicate confidently, clearly and imaginatively in the foreign language / Develop critical insights into, and contact with, the contemporary society, cultural background and heritage of countries or communities where the foreign language is spoken and develop positive attitudes and sensitivity to foreign language learning.
