Sociology involves the study of social forces (power, patriarchy, social control, socialisation etc) and social institutions (families, religions, the media, governments) upon the life and behaviour of individuals. Pupils will study various key topics within Sociology such as Families and Households, Education with Research Methods, Beliefs in Society and Crime and Deviance with Theory and Methods.
