
The study of Biology aims to develop the essential knowledge and understanding of biological concepts, which will allow a greater insight into many of the changing situations in the world. Biology A Level introduces you to the origins of living things and how they work is fundamental to the world we live in and, whether your interest is in the animal world, marine life, humans or plant life, the study of Biology is the core of further knowledge and discovery.
English Grade - 5 Mathematics Grade - 6 Minimum of a Grade 6 in Biology and a Grade 6 in one other Science or a 6/6 in Combined Science
Students will be assessed during their final year of studies on everything they have learned over the past two years by sitting exams. They will be sat at the end of the Academic Year. Students are also expected to complete practical assessments at a high level.
