Course summary

Sociology is a rapidly developing and exciting subject that allows us to understand and analyse the world around us by focusing upon whether we as individuals make the world as it is or if the structures in society determine who we are. It complements many other subjects offered in 6th form, in particular those based in the Humanities study area such as Government and Politics and History though it works with any subject combination.
