
Chemistry is, in part, a conceptual subject providing intellectual challenges at many levels. Chemistry is also an experimental science and a range of practical exercises are carried out throughout the course to illustrate the various aspects studied and to develop your practical skills.
Grade 6 or above in GCSE Chemistry (Triple Science) or grade 6-6 or above in GCSE Combined Science. All applicants must also achieve grade 6 or above in GCSE Mathematics.
Three examination papers with a mixture of multiple choice, short and long answer questions. Your practical skills will also be assessed in the examination, with questions about practical activities you have carried out.
