Course summary

This is an applied course that covers a range of IT related topics requiring excellent research and report writing skills. This course can be studied as a single A Level equivalent ('Introductory Diploma') or 2 A Level equivalent ('Technical Diploma') over 2 years. This determines whether 5 or 11 units are covered over the whole course. The mandatory units include: - Fundamentals of IT, Global Information, Virtual and Augmented reality, Cyber Security ( additional unit for 'Diploma') The optional units may include: - Developing a Smarter Planet, Internet of Everything, Mobile Technology, Social Media & Digital Marketing, Product development, Project Management , Big Data Analytics
