
A Level Physical Education enables students to play to their strengths and gain dynamic theoretical and practical skills for further education or work. Students will cover a variety of course content from biomechanics to sports psychology, within the theory context, as well as being assessed in their strongest sport as a performer or coach in the practical context. A Level Physical Education is a natural progression for those students who have undertaken AQA GCSE PE in Key Stage 4. The course is a blend of theory and practical lessons; theory makes up 70% of the overall mark and practical 30%.
