Economics is everywhere in daily life, from the news to the workplace. The subject is intertwined with anything that happens worldwide whether it be a personal decision or a worldwide trade deal. The subject of Economics equips students with a deeper understanding of why situations occur and why decisions are made. Economics A-Level requires an inquisitive mind and a strong foundation in maths. The engaging yet challenging nature of the subject requires analysis and evaluation skills. Students with these skills, combined with a willingness to find out answers to questions regarding the world around them, should consider Economics a ‘must pick’ subject.
