Investigating how different sociological perspectives view health inequalities in our society 3. Principles of Safe Practice in Health and Social Care (Coursework). To understand how to follow policies of health and safety and duty of care in a health and social care setting. In Year 13 students study units at Bentley Wood such as – 1. Research in Health and Social Care (Externally Assessed Unit). The importance of rigorous research in health and social care, how this is conducted and what implications this has for the future of the profession. 2. Public Health (Coursework). The initiatives that the government have produced to make our nation healthier, and the success of these strategies. 3. Caring for Individuals with Dementia (Coursework). Investigating the different types of dementia, their treatments and the impact on the types of care strategies provided.
