Second, Ethics: Understanding how different people from a range of backgrounds both religious and non-religious assess right and wrong, as well as applications of theory to real life. Third, Developments in Christian thought: A depth view of how Christianity developed beliefs from early views up to modern developments, and the way that issues such as feminism, the range of religions in the world and a growing secularism have impacted on how Christians understand the world and their place in it.
To study Religious Studies you will need a minimum of a grade 6 in GCSE Religious Education.
There are three examinations, one focusing on each of the key areas. Students undertake short essays about a range of topics where they evaluate different beliefs and ideas.
