
Throughout the Politics A-level course students will gain an understanding of our modern society, through analysis of both our current political situation and structures, and comparison with US Government and Politics. Students will develop the essential skills of analysis, debate and communication whilst gaining understanding on how our society is governed. Students will learn to interpret, evaluate and comment on the nature of politics and government. Studying Politics at A-level is the key to understanding British society today!
English Literature 6 English Language 6 There is no need to have studied politics previously, but students need to have an interest in UK and US politics and to be interested in political ideologies. An enthusiasm for current affairs is an enormous help, as students are expected to have a good understanding of the key political issues affecting the UK and USA.
