Students study the central beliefs of Christianity, which are then applied to issues of both Philosophy and Ethics. They will be expected to apply all they have learnt to broader synoptic questions that express a clearly constructed personal response to the issues studied.
GCSE English grade 5 or above. If RE GCSE has been studied, then Grade 5 is required.
The course is assessed through two three hour examinations at the end of Year Thirteen, each worth 50% of the course and covering the contents of Component One and Two respectively.
