Course summary

You will learn about texts/ genres across different time periods, ranging from Shakespeare to Margaret Atwood, and from different cultures. You will be encouraged to learn to appreciate and critique important works of literature whilst being allowed the space and the tools to express your own opinion. • In-depth reading and analysis of texts • Wider reading of critical material • Research into context • In-class discussion and debate • Optional relevant clubs, visits and activities
