Do you get excited by problem-solving with numbers? Bridge the gap between maths and technology by taking Maths as part of our Pioneer Pathway. Our Maths offer allows budding mathematicians to find answers with complex equations and logical thinking. Join the dots between Maths and technology with an interactive and out-the-box course structure. We incorporates a thorough review of core maths, mechanics and stats. You will also have the opportunity to take the Further Maths A Level, dependent on your GCSE Maths results. We also offer Maths Studies: an equivalent to 1/2 an A Level which extends mathematical skills developed during GCSE and supports other subjects with a mathematical component. It is highly recommend that students take this qualification alongside the Extended Diploma in Computing, particularly if they are interested in a university progression route. Maths runs the world. Did you know that working in robotic technology involves algebra and geometry? Or that medical engineering requires understanding of differential equations? If you have an interest in Maths, we encourage you to join us and delve into real-world maths application. Critical Analysis: -Fact-check maths in the media, culture and politics. -Maths for Personal Finance: Understanding savings, loans, tax and budgeting. -Analysis of Data: Analyse, visualise, and interpret data using industry-standard tools. -Estimation: Make useful estimates given limited information. -Critical Path and Risk Analysis: Advanced project management skills.
