The course is adapted to meet pupils’ aspirations; it consists of NINE MANDOTORY units (Body Systems and the Effects of Physical Activity, Sports Coaching and Activity Leadership, Sports Organisation and Development, Working Safely in Sport, Performance Analysis, Organisation of Sports Events, Physical Activity for Specific Groups, Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation, Practical Skills in Sport) and 4 OPTIONAL units (which will total 120 credits out of the 720).
The OCR Cambridge Technical (Including the Certificate or Diploma) will consist of a both examinations and assessed coursework through a range of activities. This may include practical assessments, coaching, video analysis, written work, oral presentations and also through formal examinations. Learners will receive regular feedback on their progress throughout the course and work towards a grading criteria provided by OCR. All assessed work will be in reference to a grading criteria.
