Students will be studying for the photography endorsement. In the first year we aim to build a key understanding of photographic principles, helping students to learn how to use both traditional and digital camera techniques. At A Level students develop their knowledge and skills through Component 1: Personal Investigation, where they develop a project which deepens their knowledge and understanding. The final Component is a project set by the examination board that culminates in a 15-hour examination. During this examination, students develop a final outcome to culminate their project work. Photography enables students to create a portfolio of their work, giving them flexibility in the number of projects they submit, ensuring every student has the opportunity to demonstrate artistic capability.
