During the course you will study: • Preparing final accounts for partnerships and sole traders • Cash management • Providing cost and revenue information • Preparing and completing VAT returns • Spreadsheets As part of your advanced apprenticeship you will cover the following: Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Level 2 functional skills in English and maths.
You will need to have already achieved AAT level 2, either the NVQ 2 or the level 2 certificate. You should already be employed in an accountancy environment.
You will be assessed by project and computer based formal tests. Underpinning knowledge will also be delivered on day release. If you are an external student and want to sit the Spreadsheet Software Assessment (Excel) at the college you are required to attend an assessment preparation class.
