Course summary

The Extended Project requires students to choose an area of interest, preferably linked to their choice of university course or career and produce a 5000 word essay or a 1000 word essay with an artefact or a performance on the topic. Students must plan, research and carry out the project and then deliver a presentation to a specified audience; providing evidence of all stages of project development and production for assessment. Students will receive up to 30 hours of taught skills and support from their supervisor, but will spend approximately 90 hours completing the project independently.
