Unit 1 The Business Environment Exam You will learn about the structure, ownership and functions within businesses. There will also be teaching on financial planning, business plan and external factors that affect businesses. Unit 2 Working in Business - Exam This unit will cover the skills and understanding needed to work effectively within a business environment. This includes arranging meetings, working with business documents, making payments, prioritising business activities and communicating with stakeholders. Unit 5 Marketing and marketing research - Coursework The unit has particular emphasis on the role of market research and how it contributes to marketing decision-making and the actions a business may take. Unit 4 Customers and Communications- Coursework In this unit you will learn the purpose, methods and importance of communication in business and the appropriateness of different forms of communication for different situations. Unit 11 Accounting Concepts This practical unit will help you develop the skills required to manage business accounts and finance. This unit is good preparation if you are interested in studying business or accounting at university.
