Course summary
This course will broaden and deepen the mathematical knowledge and skills you’ll develop while studying A Level Mathematics. If you decide to study this course during your second year of A Levels, you will only achieve an AS Level. Your tutor will discuss entry requirements during the first year of your A Level Maths programme. An early start in the first year is possible for some students depending on ability. You will study this course as a fourth A Levels, alongside A Level Maths. You will be able to select your chosen subjects when you apply online. Further Maths will extend your work in pure maths, statistics and mechanics.

- To study 3 A Levels you’ll need at least 5 GCSE’s at grades 9-4 including GCSE English at grade 4 or above and Maths at grade 6 or above. - To study 4 A Levels you’ll need at least 6 GCSE’s at grades 9-7 including GCSE English and Maths at grade 7 or above. - You must be studying A Level Maths and 2 other A Levels alongside this subject.
