Course summary
A range of different units with a mixture of assessment methods. All students on both courses will study: Unit 1 – Anatomy and Physiology Unit 2 - Fitness Training and Programming for Health, Sport and Well-being Unit 3 – Professional Development in the Sports Industry Fitness Testing for Sport Unit 4 – Sports Leadership Students on the Diploma will study the following additional units: Unit 5 – Application of Fitness Testing Unit 17 – Sports Injury Management Unit 22 – Investigating Business in Sport and the Active Leisure Industry Unit 22 – Investigating Business in Sport and the Active Leisure Industry Unit 23 – Skill Acquisition in Sport Unit 25 – Rules, Regulations & Officiating You will gain and develop a range of skills in BTEC Sport including communication, team work, investigation skills, evaluation and analysis methods. These will all form part of your assessment methods too.
