Course summary

A Level Religious Studies is useful for going into degrees including the sciences, Mathematics, Theology and most prominently Philosophy. It often forms parts of Environmental Science and Archaeology degrees. • Ancient philosophical influences • The nature of the soul, mind and body • Arguments about the existence or non-existence of God • Normative ethical theories • Ethical language and thought • Sexual ethics and the influence on ethical thought of developments in religious beliefs • There is a key change in A Level RS which is the emphasis on Philosophy and Ethics throughout the course, which is different from GCSE
