Course summary

WHY STUDY THIS COURSE? Studying Media empowers you to work with media products, production processes and different technologies. The course offers specialist pathways in digital content for interactive media, and moving image and audio production. You will apply practical skills and knowledge in preparation for further study, Higher Education, or the workplace. Why study Media: Modern and applicable - Freedom of choice (all companies use media) - Combined university courses (e.g. Media and Politics, English, Drama, Business etc.) - Develop strong social skills - International perspective - Specific skills (that set you apart) WHAT WILL I LEARN? Lessons will be a combination of teacher-directed sessions and group activities requiring directed and independent study. Classes are mixed ability. Lessons are taught in a purpose-built media suite equipped with dual screens for each student and Adobe Premiere editing software. We also have a green screen and filming space for CGI and YouTube vlogging.
