Course summary

`Do you have a passion and enthusiasm for the study of Forensic Science? If so, then this is the course for you. This course will give you the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised vocationally specific qualification to enter employment or progress onto the second year BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Forensic and Criminal Investigation programme. You will develop your knowledge and understanding of criminal forensics by applying your learning and skills in a work-related context. This is a one-year full-time study programme which investigates the application of criminal and forensic science through practical activities from which the theory is then drawn. With this qualification, you would generally be expected to progress onto the second year BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Forensic and Criminal Investigation programme.
