Course summary
The study program brings together knowledge and understanding (the cognitive domain) with practical and technical skills (the psychomotor domain). This is achieved through performing vocational tasks that encourage the development of appropriate vocational behaviors (the affective domain) and transferable skills, such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are valued in both higher education and the workplace. Delivery consists of: •Developing a Marketing Campaign •Personal and Business Finance •Recruitment and Selection Process •Work Experience in Business •Managing an Event •Exploring Business Progression •Internal progression onto our Advance National Extended Diploma in Business •Employment within the business sector such as junior business roles in marketing, administration, finance, events management, human resources, and other related areas in the business sector, including Higher Apprenticeships.

Assessment
As part of the program, you will conduct a two-week work placement in a business environment. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting. Assignments will also be completed in relation to your work placement.
