Course summary

The Business Department aims to build and develop the knowledge and skills sets of learners to enable them to progress successfully to University as well as to become more aware of how businesses operate around the world. The courses offered also build the confidence of learners including being able to research, create formal reports, present findings to their peers and teachers and become all round more accomplished academics. The Business Department offers both the National Extended Certificate qualification equivalent to one A level and the National Diploma equivalent to two A levels. Learners cover a wide range of various specialist Business subject areas including Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Trade and Recruitment and Selection.
