Course summary

Business behaviour, to get an understanding of how a business operates and what can influence its success. The business environment, examining a range of businesses, their ownership and organisation. Business functions like finance, operations, marketing and human resources within different organisations. Enterprise, entrepreneurs, events, customer service, doing business online, project management and the world of work. Students will leave our college with the experience, knowledge and a ‘can-do’ attitude which will give them the confidence to lead successful lives and careers in the future. Students can progress into a wide range of jobs & sectors. There is a role in every organisation linked to business studies. Studying business is a great way to develop many of the transferable skills needed for working in a business environment.
