The Maths A level is a highly demanding course and for those who have a very conscientious attitude and the desire to work independently, it is extremely rewarding. A good grade at A2 level opens up many potential degrees and subsequent careers including engineering, accountancy, investment banking, programming and IT systems analysis. The 3 modules studied across the 2-year course are: • Core Mathematics and its applications • Mechanics • Statistics • The ability to solve problems and apply logic • An increased ability to analyse • The ability to think creatively when approaching problems
