Course summary

During the course you will study; Health & Safety, promotion of additional products/services to clients, consultation, advanced cutting techniques, creative hairdressing skills, style and dress hair, colors and colors correction of hair and promotional activities. You may also study English and Math's alongside this qualification to help improve your employability opportunities. All full-time students will have a personal tutor and access to a wide range of enrichment activities. Your course will give you an opportunity to develop skills in numeracy, literacy and communication, including speaking and listening skills. Who is the course for? This course is designed for those who have achieved an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing, and those who have 3 years or more experience in the industry who have not yet gained formal qualifications in hairdressing. Candidates must be training/working a hairdressing salon on a part time basis before applying for this course. Potential candidates need to be aware that excellent attendance and punctuality is essential and references will be required to demonstare the candidates experience and suitabilty in the Hairdressing field. Study methods Theory lessons are taught by various student centered methods. You will produce evidence using a range of different methods including assignments, oral questions and practical assessments.
