2 written examinations of 1 ½ hours each worth 50% of the total AS grade. A-level assessment: • Two external exams of 2 ½ hours each (40% each) • Three pieces of coursework (20%), which includes two pieces of creative writing (1500-2000 words combined) and one analytical commentary (1000-1250 words)
