Course summary

Economics is applied to theory to support analysis of current economic problems and encourages you to appreciate the interrelationships between microeconomics and macroeconomics. It has engaging and up-to-date content so that you can relate what you learn to the world around you. You will develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand and analyse data, think critically about issues and make informed decisions.

Our general entry requirements are that you will need a minimum of five Grade 6s in your GCSEs to study A-Levels. You do not need to have studied Economics at GCSE level to take this course. It does have a high mathematical content so is recommended for those with a grade 6 or above in GCSE maths
